Original period photography. A very fine study of two Infantry Privates wearing the 1902 dress uniform. Each wears a crossed rifle insignia on his hat, which displays the number 4, and letter D; Company D, Fourth Infantry. Faint Omaha Nebraska photographs logo at the bottom. Fort Omaha was established in 1878 and served through WWII.
