Original era manufacture. Scarce, early production 1910 pattern canteen, featuring an aluminum body without side seams, unmarked, with an linked chain securing the cap to the neck spout of the body. Unmarked aluminum cantee cup.  Green canvas canteen cover with rimless Army eagle securing buttons and no stenciled markings.   The cover displays strong colors  with typical staining and minor wear from service use.
