Original era manufacture. A very early M1910 canteen set featuring a green canvas cover fitted with rimless eagle snap buttons, a machined aluminum canteen and an early cup with a curved top edge.Of the three components, the cup has to be the scarcest item here; when viewed in profile, the upper edge has a decided upwards curve to the lip, unlike the later, straight edge cups. In my time of involvement in the hobby, I have owned perhaps 3 or 4 examples of this pattern cup.  The set is sound, displays honest age and use, there is a cork inside the canteen cap. The canteen is a very tight fit inside the cup, I will not force it as it will be tough to pull out again.
