Original era manufacture. Tan cotton drill covered, rigid body enlisted hat, with darkened bronze, rimless eagle buttons on each side. These secure the black patent leather chinstrap. Two embroidered ventilators on each side of the top. Bound edge patent leather visor. Intact brown leather sweatband which is sewn to the band on both the top and bottom. Small red on white paper size tag stating 6 3/4. A clever previous owner placed a thin cardboard disc in the top of the hat to add form and shape to the top. Easily removed if desired, but I must say it does it's intended job quite nicely. Small pattern hat device on the front.
