Original era manufacture. Plated finish blade measures 32 inches in length, being marked on the ricasso AS Co. 1906, US. No issues to the blade beyond some light age staining. Black finish steel guard with light surface corrosion, no pitting. Fishskin wrapped wooden grip showing wear to the high spots, and bound with single strand twisted wire. Fastened to the guard is an issue pattern brown leather knot. The scabbard is of wood with a pigskin covering, even the suspension rings are covered, dark steel patina throat. The tip of the wooden scabbard body pokes through the bottom of the scabbard covering, otherwise the stitching is sound.
