Original era manufacture. A fine quality late 19th, early 20th century frock coat in black doeskin wool. Nine button front with a black velvet lined collar. At some point in it's life the coat has been modified by having replica Civil War era buttons installed on the front and cuffs, with a pair of Infantry Captain post-WWII dress shoulder straps sewn on to the shoulders. Very impressive looking, no mothing that I could see but being such a dark fabric perhaps a few have snuck  in there. Size about a 40 regular.
