Original era manufacture. Standard model sword with a 30 inch bright chrome finished blade, etched on both sides, with the Springfield Armory logo on the ricasso. Nickel finished basket guard with a horn grip. Guard is sound but the top branch is pushed forward a bit, the grip is also sound with a small crack near the ferrule. Attached to the guard is a period looking russet leather knot. Dent free chrome plated scabbard with some scattered patches of missing finish, nice original leather hanger with a darkened brass snaphook.
