Original era manufacture. A very sound example of an early 20th century, issue quality hat, as worn by a member of B Troop, 8th US Cavalry Regiment. There is a Phila Depot, M. Schlesinger contract stamp inside the sweatband, the golden yellow and dark blue band, fits the hat properly and snugly, not a recent addition. Patent leather chinstrap which is secured with two rimless eagle enlisted side buttons. No moth issues to report, very bright and clean looking, not crushed or damaged in any way. Size 6 7/8.
