Original era manufacture. A well used example exhibiting service wear and use, but not worn down to a nub either. Heavy curved bolo blade which is U.S. marked and dated 1905. Even steel patina finish with a few shallow nicks in the cutting edge from service use. Light staining to the surface but no deep corrosion pitting. Brass patina S-shaped guard, turned wood grip with finger grooves, no chips or cracks. Matching condition leather scabbard with a Krag-type belt hook which amazingly retains an original leather uniform protector on it's suspension hook.
