Original period manufacture. RIA 1919 dated blade with a blue finish, and service sharpening to the cutting edge. No corrosion pitting to the blade surface, slight bend in the blade about 1/4 inch up from the guard.Original smooth finish walnut grips, mix of blue and patina finish to the pommel and guard.Sound brown leather covered scabbard with no drain hole at the tip, M1910 belt hook, and RIA 1907 dated on the reverse. No real issues to the leather, save for some light surface scuffing at the tip and a partial black staining to the throat area.The blade fits the scabbard properly, however will only lock in position on one side. This is due to the slight bend in the blade previously described.A decent bayonet for the money, just needs to have that bend straightened out a bit.
