Original period manufacture. Blue finish blade made by S.A. in 1912 (Arizona Statehood Year),serial number 531231. Mix of original blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish walnut grips, smoothed over the years from handling, chip in the right grip plate at the pommel. Brown leather 1st pattern scabbard with a blue finish to the Krag type hanger and a mix of blue and light surface corrosion on the scabbard throat. The leather has a nice sheen to it, typical stitching issues at the tip.
