Original period manufacture. 1911 dated blade made by Rock Island Arsenal. The blade is finished in the bright, with no issues, just light age and wear. Original finish, rough-hewn walnut grips, with very minor dings from service use. USMC pattern canvas cover, with a seam on the edge and wide M1910 belt hook; black leather chape, with drain hole.  Overall an excellent example of this pattern bayonet.
