Original period manufacture. A full length, 16 inch bayonet made by Springfield Arsenal in 1909. The blade is clean, with clear markings on the ricasso, and a mix of  cleaned steel and  dark finish to the surfaces. The cutting edge had an attempt at sharpening, but no clumsily done. Matching finish to the guard and pommel, lock button works properly. The original rough hewn wooden are in place and are free of damage. No scabbard.
