Original period manufacture. A full length, 16 inch bayonet made by Springfield Arsenal in 1909. The blade is in clean condition, with clear markings on the ricasso, and a dark blue finish to the surfaces. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel with an operable lock button. Original wood grips. A clean bayonet, no scabbard.
