Original era manufacture. Springfield Arsenal marked and 1912 dated M1909 bolo knife complete with its original brown leather scabbard.The blade surface is clean, with scattered age spotting and evidence of light surface corrosion which has been cleaned away. Ricasso markings are clear and readable. Sound steel guard with a steel patinafinish, intact wood grips without any cracks or chips and a brass pommel cap.The leather scabbard displays sound stitching, an intact belt loop and a clear 1918 date on the reverse.
