Original era manufacture. Early production bolo knife with a bright finished blade, serial numbered 4178 SA 1911 on the ricasso and a lock mechanisim on the guard. The blade shows scattered wear and evidence of a period sharpening for service use. No scabbard, not too big of a deal, as these tend to be around, often in near mint condition. You just have to make sure it is the pattern with the small metal hook at the throat to engage the lock.
