Original era manufacture. Light tan canvas cover with a clear U.S. stencil on its front. Darkened brass rimless eagle snap closures. Scattered staining but no tears or holes. Early manufacture aluminum canteen with a movable neck ring securing the cap chain. Good sized dent in one side of the canteen. The snap closures work properly.
