Original period manufacture. Early pattern pack of olive green canvas, with the early type, lace-on, curved bottom meatcan pouch. The pouch and pack flap are both stenciled, crossed rifles, 25 over K, with a brass marking tag on each. Heavier canvas shoulder straps with folded and sewn edges. Normal age and wear. The 25th Infantry was one of two, all black Infantry regiments formed after the Civil War. No pack extender with this one.
