Original era manufacture. Olive green woven canvas belt with 9 pockets for rifle ammunition, rimmed eagle button closure, four of which are Marine pattern buttons, the remainder are rimmed Army pattern buttons. Our second photo shows the flaps side by side. Clear MILLS markings on the darkened brass adjusting tabs. This interesting belt has undergone some serious repairs at some point in it's past, perhaps done by Hollywood, or rebuilt by the US military. It did certainly begin life as a Marine Corps belt as the pocket flaps with the Marine buttons match the rest or the construction of the belt. Hmmm.
