Original era Documents. An interesting grouping of leatherbound, vellum enlistment and promotion documents pertaining to the service of a US Navy sailor from 1904 until 1933. Some of the ships he served on were, USN Receiving Ships USS Franklin & Constellation, andUSN shipsWabash, Independence, Intrepid, Mohican, San Diego and Imperator. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal in 1916, having reached the rating of Gunners Mate 1st Class in 1913. The documents are folded, but being vellum are quite sound, with the writing and entries very clear. Eight individual documents, most having entries on each side.
