Original era manufacture. 45-70 Cadet rifle bayonet which was modified by Rock Island Arsenal for fencing purposes. Measures 21 inches overall length, with a brown leather covering over the blade. The stitching is sound, scattered scuffing and surface dryness to the leather surface. Scarce bayonet.
