Original era manufacture. A near new condition insignia, of which I have not been able to identify. I had thought a Plotter for the Coastal Artillery, or perhaps the Engineer Corps. I checked the USArmy regulations for 1908, and Colonel Emerson's book on US Army Chevrons, no luck with either.Near new condition
