The motto "MorsEt Destructio" (death and destruction)was changedin April of 1940 to "Libertatum Defendimus" (We Defend Liberty). First bomb group in the Air Corps to be equipped with the B-17 Flying Fortress. Saw extensive service during WWII in the ETO. Light age and wear,
