Original period manufacture. A large format, 5x9 foot 48 star US Flag stenciled on the white canvas hoist. C.C.C. QM Corps 5x9. It has an interesting makers logo from the Bull Dog Bunting company in Pennsylvania. All sewn construction with individual sewn stars and stripes. It is in very clean condition, near new really but does have a few spots and stains on it from storage and age. The Civilian Conservation Corps, CCC, was a New Deal, public work relief program which existed from 1933 to 1942. It provided jobs and pay for out of work men 18-25 years of age during the Great Depression of the 1930's.
