Original era manufacture. Long, 34 inch chromed steel blade with an etched design on each side of the blade. The blade is bright, running straight and true. There are a few nail catchers in the cutting edge, with a touch of corrosion staining on the spine at the base of the blade. Chromed alloy three branch guard and pommel with a black composition grip. Matching finish chromed alloy scabbard which is dent free. A very clean sword, of a pattern which is still US Army regulation today.
