Original era manufacture. 1930's era officers hat with a "pink" ribbed wool top, and woven basket type band. Brown leather trim, with a gilded brass eagle at the front. Mounted type chinstrap with the extra piece in the back. Tan leather sweatband which is pretty securely stitched to the band, about a 3 inch section has opened up on the left side; size marked 7 1/8. White silk lining with an intact diamond shaped sweatshield. Sound condition overall.
