Original era manufacture. Prewar hat, likely from around the 1930's, ribbed olive wool top, with a khaki ribbed wool band, and brown leather visor & chinstrap. Dark orange silk lining with a retailers name in gilt lettering, that being covered by a clear celluloid diamond, which has a tear through it's center. Simple brown oil cloth sweatband with a silk bow in the back. Brown leather adjustable chinstrap secured with two brass eagle buttons, with a nick in the edge of the left side strap adjuster. Overall the hat exhibits honest age and use, no moth issues to mention, size about a 6 3/4.
