Original era manufacture. Regulation US Army officer dress uniform as worn by Colonel W.J. Eyerly (1901-1997), when serving in the artillery. 1937 dated dark blue wool coat with red/gold trimmed cuffs and removable artillery officer shoulder boards in the rank of full colonel. 1938 dark blue wool trousers in matching material with a red and gold stripe down the outside seam of each leg. All buttons are present, no moth issues to mention, coat is about a 38 regular, with the trousers measuring 32 inch waist and 33 inch inseam. A Danville Pennsylvania native, Colonel Eyerly was a graduate of West Point, class of 1924, and served in the South Pacific during WWII. For many years he was a mathematics instructor at Culver Military Academy.
