Original era manufacture. A very clean cover, of light OD canvas, with a clear U.S. stencil on the front, and 1941 date on the lower edge of the reverse.A very sound example of a 1918 dated aluminum canteen, most of the original factory finish remains, with a cork inside the cap...no dents.WWI pattern aluminum cup, no dates, and matches the condition of the canteen cover. A great looking set that saw little use during WWII.
