Original era manufacture. A nicely finished, homemade dagger identified to one Curtis Houck, Woodsboro Maryland, and dated 8/8/27. Heavy, double-edged steel blade measuring 5.5 inches in length, with a hardwood grip secured with three flush-ground, brass rivets. Heavy duty homemade leather sheath of riveted and sewn construction,  with the owners name and details carved into the body.
