Original era manufacture. Measuring 50 mm in width with a pinback reverse. The obverse displays a photograph of the worker, in this instance a young man, and the reverse his fingerprint. Around the edges the following can be seen, U.S.Q.M., QM Eagle, DEPOT. and at the bottom. JEFF. The Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot was established in 1864 and closed in 1958. Originally covering 4 city blocks, it was expanded during WWII to cover an area of 10 city blocks.
