Original era manufacture. This is a very interesting document. Issued by the Department of State in 1935 to one George Karl Bodenschatz, naturalized US citizen, born in Germany in 1890. His occupation is listed as excecutive, an employee of the Quality Welding Company of Louisville KY. The passport has long been cancelled and of a pattern no longer in use today. The pages are nearly completely filled with entry and exit stamps into Europe between 1935 and January of 1939. Numerous monetary transactions taking place at the American Express Office in Munich. I wonder if he was a spy.....
