Original era manufacture. Very colorful octogon shaped tin produced by the Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company of New York. The lithographed design depicts ships of the US Navy on its top and sides. Interestingly of the 8 ships and boats shown on the sides of the tin, three were lost to enemy action during WWII and one was surrendered. Sunk, USS Chicago, USS Arizona, USS Lexington and surrendered the shallow draft gunboat USS Guam. Light age and wear.
