Original era manufacture. Named USMC Good Conduct Medal, Zander T. Duncan, 1st Enlistment, 1933-1937, along with a mix of enlisted coat buttons in darkened bronze and brass. Matching two-place ribbon bar which includes the ribbon for a China Service medal. Ancestry provides 66 Marine muster roll listings for him from 1933-1944. However the real story lies in the newspaper articles which appear on Ancestry attached to his name search. In 1952 he was convicted of mortally wounding his pregnant wife with a 20 gauge shotgun, their unborn child also did not survive.
