Original era photography. Nearly 300 period black and white images, detailing the service of a member of the 6th Marine Regiment stationed in Shanghai China in 1937. The photographs reside in a very fine quality black leather album, with a wonderful decorated front cover, proudly displaying the EGA flanked by Chinese Dragons.   The photo content is a mix of typical souvenir images purchased by the Marine, and original photographs of his service in China; graphic images of dead Chinese presumably killed by the Japanese, a barricaded position of built-up sandbags, Italian soldiers, weapons, uniforms and more.Large format album measuring 15.5 x 2 x 11 inches.
