Original era photography. 198 black and white photos of a young Marine and his service in the mid-1930's. The commercially produced cover shows a handpainted image on leather of the famed Marine Corps Bulldog. Inside there are several pages of names and addresses of fellow marines with some interesting comments. The photos are more or less tourist quality with areas he visited as a Marine, although there are a few nicely posed shots in dress blues and training with a BAR. Neptune Rex subpoena for the un-initiated aboard the USS Mississippi in 1936. Normal age and wear, some photos missing.
