Original era manufacture. Forest green wool body with brown dyed lambs wool turn-up, and front band. Quilted green cotton lining, with remnants of its original issue tab, and one small hole.The hat shows wear and use, and represents the pattern of hat worn by the US Marines sent to Iceland prior to December 7th 1941.Needs a repair on the left front edge of the hat, where the fold is next to the lining. Scarce hat, and priced accordingly.
