Original era manufacture. INERT, solid steel projectile which is very clearly marked on the base of the projectile. 5.5 inch brass casing, again nicely marked on it's base. This appears to be a complete and correct round as the projectile "fits" inside the casing collar properly. I could be wrong. No explosives.
