Original era manufacture. Short model bayonet of a pattern which saw considerable use by the Mexican Army prior to WWI. 8 inch bright steel blade with REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION NY in the reverse fuller. The blade is clean with displaying a light graying to its surface. Dark steel patina hooked guard and pommel with typical marring and denting to the wood grips. Black leather scabbard body with sound stitching, blue steel throat and tip with a Krag style hanger.
