Original era manufacture. A very sound example of the pre WWII US military helmet worn at Wake Island, the Philippines and Pearl Harbor during the early days of the US involvement in WWII.The helmet shell is about a size 6 3/4, with a light OD canvas chinstrap with brass fittings. The leather liner displays evidence of service use, with staining and wear to the edges. The leather is pliable but is a bit dry.
