Original era manufacture. A beautiful quality set sold through the Midshipman's Store, US Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland. Often purchased upon graduation by the Midshipman, or his family and friends, and kept for use for use during full dress ceremonies. Molded fur felt cocked hat with gold wire trim, size marked 7 1/2, matched pair of gold wire full dress epaulets in the rank of Ensign, leather backed gold wire decorated full dress belt with sword straps. Overall the condition is excellent, and by the style of the case I would date this set to be from the mid to late 1930's.
