Postera manufacture. A nice quality replicaof dark blue wool, black leather visor and edging, and adjustable black leather chinstrap.Hand stitched to the front of the hat is a bullion wire embroidered Staff Officers, or General Officers insignia, with two eagle buttons securing the chinstrap, one on each side.The is a fold-down wool neck protector around the body of the hat,the ends of which are held in place by a thinblack silk tie.Simple white cotton lining, with a brown leather sweatband, size marked 7 3/8. Light age and wear.
