Original era manufacture. Woven blue canvas belt for 45 rifle cartridges, looks to be for caliber 45-70. Brass fittings throughout, displaying honest age and wear, no tears or holes. Unmarked as to manufacture, likely a MILLS production belt. See page 286, American Military & Naval Belts 1812-1902, by R. Stephen Dorsey.
