Original era photography. Sepia cabinet card image of the PMSS San Juan. A Coastal Passenger Liner, launched in 1882, she operated along the Pacific coast of the United States and abroad, until she collided with a steel-hulled steamer off of San Francisco on 29 August 1929, she sank within three minutes taking 65 souls with her. This 1891 dated image shows a clear profile image of the ship, the reverse gives the names of the officers. San Francisco photographers logo.
