Original period manufacture. Heavy steel, 15 inch curved blade with horn grips secured with four brass rivets. The blade surface is rather crude, showing casting marks in the steel surface, more polished towards the cutting edge.Sound brown leather scabbard with the Collins logo below the brass throat, brass covered chape. The belt loop is present, but weak at the top fold.
