Original period manufacture. 1884 dated Morgan Silver Dollar, minted at the Philadelphia Mint. 90% silver coin. This coin has been plugged, drilled back in the day to perhaps serve as a watch fob. The plugged hole is visible just above Lady Liberty's crown. In 1884 Montgomery Ward Company published their first mail order catalog, In Louisville Ky., the Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat went into production.
