Original era manufacture. A regulation hat of dark blue wool, with a direct embroidered gold wire eagle insignia at the front of the cap. Woven basket pattern black mohair cap band with a thin gold wire chincord secured with staff pattern buttons. Black Moroccan leather sweatband, with a black silk lining displaying the gilt Pettibone label. No moth issues, just normal age and wear.
