Orginal era manufacture. A very clear image of a young soldier with his Krag at the ready. Double looped cartridge belt with a good view of a Krag bayonet and perhaps a Collins & Co. machete. Campaign hat, with just a peek at an Engineer's castle emblem behind the brim. Nice photo, Chicago photographers backmark.
