Original era photography.What an excellent image of the classic Spanish-American, or Philippine Insurrection era. Armed with his single-shot, US Model 1884 45-70 Springfield rifle, he appears in full marching order. Note the round-bottom drinking cup below his haversack, and his M1874 meatcan hanging below his canteen. I really like his pose, he is ready to go. Minor crease in the margin on the right side, with damage to the two right side corners.
