Original era manufacture. A great looking old canteen, which appears to be a near dead-ringer for the issue Army canteen of the era, yet made for a child, as it only measures about 6 inches across. Tinned steel body with a tan cloth covering, and a matching material shoulder strap that slips through the three, Civil War style, strap loops.Cork stopper with finger loop, which is secured to one of the upper sling guide loops. Maker marked Junior Hike NY, very clean, minimal wear.
